I learned from this video:
Amanda Palmer “Leeds United” Music Video (via amandapalmer)
My friend @ashleybb says this is likely NSFW, but I say (as I always say) that that depends entirely on where you work now, doesn’t it? If you work in a place where Amanda Palmer’s not allowed to sing a jaunty pop song about rape and abortion and getting an autographed photo from those wonderful Mancunians in Oasis, then yeah, this is probably NSFW. Then again, if you’ve already opened this, the video placeholder above is probably enough to screw you. Cheers. shared this excellent video with me.*
Work from home, people. Work from home.
Also, buy Who Killed Amanda Palmer? It’s full of awesome.

Look! Amanda Palmer (of the Dresden Dolls) performing with the Boston Pops!
I found this video on Neil Gaiman’s journal. Amanda mentioned something about Neil’s working on the liner notes and a related book for her solo album, but he’s taken the coy route by just posting this video with no additional information.
I can’t wait to see what they’re working on. Seems like they’re right up each other’s alley, so to speak.
“neil gaiman is working with me on the book that is going to accompany the record. he’s also writing some liner notes for the back of the album art, which is taking a bizarre turn into the 1960s.”
