This is a very interesting article on at least two levels. First, it gives a very human, civilian view of torture. I think we all can benefit from understanding torture from this POV.
And, second, it involves Christopher Hitchens’ being waterboarded. This is an author/personality who, like a Fox News anchor (apologies, Christopher, for the simile) is both soundly loved and hated by many. And here he is, subjecting himself to torture.
